DRAFTSPERSON with valid BCIN

Sealy Design Inc. has a position available for a full time Draftsperson. The ideal candidate is an experienced draftsperson with great interpersonal skills who can work to tight deadlines.

Duties:

• Produce full set of drawings for building permits based on sketches provided by Interior Designers
• Site measurements
• Produce scaled plans based on site measurements
• Manage permit process from start to completion
• Manage and create AUTOCAD library
• Other duties as assigned

Computer/technical skills:

• Valid BCIN mandatory (house or small buildings)
• AUTOCAD 2009
• Microsoft Office Suite

Education/experience:

• Graduate of accredited post secondary program
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience
• Knowledge of Ontario building code and local zoning bylaws
• Familiar with residential construction methods
• Familiar with interior millwork construction and details
• Organized and detail oriented

Other:

• Sealy Design offers flexible hours based on the status of on-going projects
• The candidate must have access to transportation
